Brendan Rodgers’s side barely scraped through last night, with a win against Carlisle on penalties. The fans are not really in love with their manager, with recent comments from the Reds’ supporters stating that the Kop boss doesn’t know his arse from his elbow. If previously it was a small section of supporters claiming so, things would have been fine.
However, with the growing amount of hate, maybe its time that the Premier League outfit’s higher authority did something about it.
Keeping that in mind, Calciomercato has stated that the Anfield faithful want Rodgers out and are asking for one simple replacement, Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian manager was on the wrong end of the miraculous comeback at Istanbul and has a good idea of what the club expects of him and what he can bring to it.
After being sacked by Real Madrid, he has still not taken up a job and has experience in the Premier League with Chelsea, as well. If things do work out, it could be a great thing for Liverpool, who have just completely stopped performing under the former Swansea boss in recent times.
