Jurgen Klopp is all set to make his first signing as Liverpool manager as Alexandre Pato is rumoured to be heading to Anfield, according to the Independent.
The deal is expected to be done in January for the Brazilian to move from Corinthians to Anfield. The Brazilian club’s president has revealed that there is a deal in place for the ex-AC Milan striker. According to the president of Pato’s current club, Roberto de Andrade, “There is an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer in the coming weeks. Liverpool await, there are a few missing details, but Klopp will have a new reinforcement and for Pato the Premier League will be a new springboard.”
However, there are a few missing details that need are needed to be sorted out but de Andrade sees the Premier League as a new springboard for the international striker. Pato coming good for Liverpool will be a big blessing in disguise for both Liverpool and Brazil, who are in need of a striker.
