According to a report from the Sun, Bournemouth are eyeing a £25m swoop for Liverpool ace Harry Wilson.
Harry Wilson, 22, made 43 appearances and scored 16 goals on a season-long loan at Derby County in the Championship. He was a crucial member of Frank Lampard’s Derby County side that came within one game of promotion to the Premier League.
The Wales international will be looking to break into the Liverpool side after a solid loan spell in the Championship but given the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri are in the ranks, chances of Wilson getting regular opportunities under Jurgen Klopp appears bleak next season.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool chiefs are willing to let the 22-year-old leave permanently in the summer. That should come as great news for Bournemouth and they must go all out to sign Wilson.
The Cherries have only signed Lloyd Kelly from Bristol City this summer. They need more reinforcements in order to challenge for a top-eight finish next term.
But the fans will certainly be delighted that the team appears to have a real direction and purpose in their transfer plans this summer, although the real test will be whether or not they prove to be successful additions to the squad to achieve their 2019/20 objectives.
Keeping the current transfer market in mind, Bournemouth will still need to be prepared to have to fork out big money to bolster their squad.
Howe has worked wonders with youngsters and given the array of talent on show at the Vitality Stadium, Harry Wilson should be a good fit for a team that plays an exciting and attractive brand of football.
Wilson has shown in the past 12 months that he is capable of performing consistently throughout the course of a season.
In terms of attributes, the 22-year-old possesses great pace, fantastic dribbling skills, decent passing and an ability to have a pop at goal when space is provided.

The Welshman’s dribbles were fantastic in the past as well but the enhancement in quality in the final product has made him a different threat to the defenders now. He’ll bring quality out wide and a touch of flair to the Cherries’ attacking ranks.
All in all, if Bournemouth are in the market to enhance their creative department of the squad, then they are in the right direction by going for Wilson. At this moment in time, the 22-year-old looks ready to play in the Premier League, week in and week out.
