Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is going all berserk, as he looks to sign £11m-rated German U-21 international Leroy Sane who has already said a “No” to their Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham. The north London side had sent their scouts to monitor the 19-year-old Schalke 04 winger in their game against Sparta Prague in their Europa League at Gelsenkirchen on Thursday night. These reports reveals that the rising star from Schalke may prefer moving to Arsenal.
However, the young attacking midfielder was on the sidelines for an hour, before finally being brought on to score in the 2-2 draw.
The Gunners had sent their scouts to watch the game and were highly impressed with Sane, who has now scored seven goals in his previous nine games in all competitions.
The midfield superstar agreed a five-year deal with the Bundesliga club recently, though that should have now an impact on the fact that Wenger is keen to still add him to his squad.
Though both the Reds and Spurs tried their best, they failed to get a move done and recently talking about Sane’s future, club director Horst Heldt stated, “There has been one or more prestigious clubs that contacted us about Sane. Liverpool were ready to pay the money for him but this offer didn’t at all interest us or the player.”
“But I am really concerned about losing the player. Leroy can have a great career ahead of him. He is on the right track.”
