Arsene Wenger with the injury updates

All the latest news, Injury Updates and Interviews across the Emirates today:

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave his customary pre-match Interview to the press today ahead of their home tie against Norwich City. Although the Interview circulated around England manger Roy Hodgson who was under the spotlight for a joke he made at half-time during the England v Poland match on Tuesday, and Wenger expressed his sympathies for the England Manager.

“First of all, I don’t really know what happened,” he said.

“Secondly we can go sometimes a bit overboard at half-time, it is an emotional situation, there is a lot of desire and effort in there, but basically all [that is said] has to remain in the dressing room – it is an old phrase which you know well in England.

“Unfortunately these times have gone, so you have to be very careful today about what you say, wherever you are. To be in the middle of controversy, yes, it is part of [being a manager] but I don’t really know what happened. What has he really said? What does it really mean? You have to be in the situation to know.”, concluded the manager.

And coming back to the all important team news, Wenger revealed that Ozil and Sagna has passed the fitness test and will be available for tomorrow’s match. This will come as a huge relief for the Arsenal fans, who were expecting to witness Ozil’s partnership with Santi Cazorla for the first time this season. Talking about the team news, Wenger said:

“We recognise world-class players but we still want to build internally. We want to switch on and play in an efficient way. Every single game is a potential danger for every team in the league.

“Ozil, Sagna and Cazorla are all fit. Everybody else looks fit and ready.”

Here is the Arsenal’s full match preview including the predicted line-up and team news.
