Arsene Wenger To Make 2 Big Changes – Predicted 3-4-3 Arsenal Lineup To Face Liverpool At Anfield

Predicted Arsenal Lineup To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

Arsene Wenger will be frustrated with the way they dropped all three points on their trip to Stoke in the second league game of the season and will want his side to bounce back this weekend. However, they face a tricky trip to Anfield, which has not been a productive place for the Gunners in recent times.

Liverpool managed to break their Crystal Palace voodoo with a 1-0 victory over the Eagles last weekend but they were busy during the mid-week with their Champions League qualifier, which might make it easy for Arsenal to take something from this game, if Klopp fails to rotate his team properly.

Team News

The Gunners are still without the likes of Santi Cazorla in the midfield. Alexis Sanchez and skipper Laurent Koscielny are fit and available for this game. Jack Wilshere might not yet be risked into the thick of the things.

Manager: Arsene Wenger

Formation: 3-4-3

GK – Petr Cech

The first choice shot stopper for Arsenal, Cech has already let in four goals this season and it will not get any easy at Anfield.

CB – Shkodran Mustafi

The German star was easily undone by Stoke and will have to bounce back strongly if he is to stop the likes of Sadio Mane, who is in terrific form at the moment.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

The skipper of the side, Koscielny will make his first appearance of this season, coming back from a suspension he picked up last season. He will be under the firing line straight away.

Laurent Koscielny

CB – Nacho Monreal

The Spaniard is probably the most underrated defender at the moment. He is remarkable and is so crucial to this Arsenal side. With Koscielny coming back, he might be moved to the left-hand side of central defence.

RWB – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsene Wenger simply cannot afford to drop Oxlade-Chamberlain, can he? The versatile Englishman will start ahead of the misfiring Hector Bellerin, as a right wing-back.

CM – Granit Xhaka

The Swiss international has been at fault for 3 of the 4 goals that Arsenal have conceded so far this season. He has to sort himself out if Arsenal are to get out of their rut.

CM – Aaron Ramsey

The Welsh international has been preferred to partner Xhaka in the midfield, adding some balance and he could have a huge impact on this tie.

Sead Kolasinac (right)

LWB – Sead Kolasinac

The newbie Kolasinac was used in central defence against Stoke but should be back at left wing-back for this trip to Anfield.

RW – Mesut Ozil

The German playmaker has been effective against Liverpool in the past and will hope to put in a similar performance this time as well.

ST – Alexandre Lacazette

The French star will probably be fancying himself against a vulnerable Liverpool defence but it in reality though, it will be tougher than expected.

LW – Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez was declared available by Wenger and the Chilean will not be benched, will he be? Expect him to start on the left wing and weave his magic.

This is how Arsenal could line up:
