Arsenal, Liverpool And Manchester City In A Three Way Battle To Sign Serie A Forward

Share

According to reports from Italy (via bleacherreport)Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are all keeping close tabs on Inter’s young forward Andrea Pinamonti. The Italian wonder-kid is also being eyed by the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Valencia.

Pinamonti has netted 10 goals this season in seven appearances for Inter’s youth team and his impressive strike rate has caught the attention of some of the giant clubs in Europe. If he continues to impress in this kind of form, a national team call-up wouldn’t be far away.

With interested clubs lurking around the corner, the Italian outfit is looking to tie down the youngster with an offer which could keep Pinamonti at the club for at least another 4-5 years as his contract expires in 2018. The bids would expectedly be no small amounts on the hitman who has proven to have exuberant qualities.

Being a centre-back before turning into one of the hottest properties in Italy, Pinamonti has a natural tendency for dropping deep and allowing wingers to make forward runs into space, he has exceptional ball control and is immensely composed, which is a rarity amongst Italian strikers.

Knowing Arsene Wenger and his love for prodigies, Pinamonti ticks all the boxes to fit into an Arsenal team who has been looking for a composed striker for a while now, Giroud and Lucas Perez are struggling infront of goal and the Italian may just be the remedy to Wenger’s attacking problems.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has plenty of striking options in Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings as back-up, but the only one firing for his team is Roberto Firmino, and Pinamonti may be a good addition to the current League leaders.

Pep Guardiola’s Man city has been linked with interest for the striker as he needs a replacement for injury-prone Sergio Aguero. Barring Kelechi Iheanacho, Guardiola does not have a decent striker, and also a move to the Etihad is likely as the “Citizens” can offer a huge payroll and transfer with their deep budgets.
