“From this moment, we start to discuss with different clubs about Yaya going there in the summer. City don’t do anything concrete.”-Dimitri Seluk
Ivory Coast International Yaya Toure is set to leave Manchester City, his agent Dimitri Seluk confirms. According to the agent, the midfielder is looking for a transfer move in the summer although his contract with Manchester City is set to expire at the end of the 2016-2017 campaign.
Toure has been linked with a move to the Anfield for some time now and seems like Liverpool are the aptest suitors for the player if he wants to stay in the Premier League after leaving City. Further, Pep Guardiola’s arrival in City wipes out any possibility of the player staying in the Etihad Stadium.
Liverpool, however, is not the only ones linked with the player, Arsenal too have been linked with Toure as former Manchester City Boss Stuart Pearce, has urged the Gunners to sign him as a first priority, stating that this will help the youngsters in the Emirates to keep their head in the game.
