According to reports, Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the transfer race to sign Lyon star Clement Grenier.
Arsene Wenger recently praised Clement Grenier as the next “Samir Nasri” provoking media rumors. But Gunners are yet to make an official bid for Grenier. It is believed that Liverpool already made an inquiry about the availability of the the versatile midfielder who can play as winger too.
Grenier has good pace, great vision and pinpoint passing skills under his armory. He’s also a good free-kick taker which makes his one of the hottest young talent in Europe.
Lyon’s valuation of the player is road blocking any possible deal at the moment. They want a fee close to £25 million (really?). If they reduce their price by £10 million, then we may see Grenier in premier league next season either in Arsenal or Liverpool colors.
