Predicted Hull City Line-up To Face Queens Park Rangers In The EFL Championship

Hull pulled off a fantastic draw against Wolves on Monday to almost ensure their Championship survival and will be looking to carry that fighting spirit into this game against QPR.

They won’t have an easy game as QPR come into this on the back of a 4-1 victory against Norwich. However, if Hull dig deep and play the type of football they exhibited against Wolves and Aston Villa recently, then they will be in with a good chance.

Probable Hull City XI

Manager: Nigel Adkins

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Alan McGregor (GK)

The experienced Scottish keeper had a good game against Wolves and kept them in it with some great saves early on in the game. A great option to have in goal.

Ola Aina (RB)

The young Chelsea loanee has been quite inconsistent for Hull this season but when he is good, he is very good. Played in a more advanced position against Wolves but it does seem like the defensive duties suit him better.

Michael Dawson (CB)

Dawson has been a quality asset this season, especially when partnered with MacDonald. Adkins will be hoping that he can keep the experienced centre-back fit.

Michael Dawson

Angus MacDonald (CB)

The 25-year-old has had a few partners in the Hull central defence this season but has always looked good irrespective of who he’s been partnered with. He tackles well and is good in the air.

Max Clark (LB)

Consistently solid in that left-back position for Hull. Played well against Wolves without doing anything special. Adkins will want him to push forward more like he did against Villa in this game.

Harry Wilson (AML)

The Liverpool loanee has impressed for Hull so far and will be hoping to give the QPR defenders a headache.

Markus Henriksen (CM)

Henriksen has looked solid in the middle for Hull all season, he tackles well and wins the ball back for his team whilst also passing the ball around with aplomb.

David Meyler (CM)

The 28-year-old had a very good game for Hull against Wolves, breaking up the play well and marshalling the midfield, whilst also taking his penalty chance very well. Adkins will be hoping for more of the same from him.

Kamil Grosicki

Kamil Grosicki (AMR)

The tricky winger played well when he came on against Wolves and set up Hull’s second goal. He needs to recapture the form he showed in the Premier League last year and now would be a good time to start.

Jon Toral (AMC)

Toral defended well from the front against Wolves and broke up the play well. However, Adkins will be looking for more from him against QPR.

Abel Hernandez (ST)

Dicko didn’t have the best of games for Hull against Wolves and when Hernandez is in form he can make the entire Hull team look like a class act. Returning to full fitness was always going to be tough but he could make a step forward in this game.
