Three Premier League Strikers Likely To Leave Their Clubs This Summer

The transfer season is upon us and it should prove to be a busy one for the clubs as they identify their targets and also set to part ways with some of their existing players. While the players are constantly being linked with several clubs, most of these will remain as rumours only keeping the media and the fans speculating. But some of the rumours will certainly materialise, paving a new era for both the club and the player. Here we take a look at three such strikers who are looking for a move out of their club and searching for a new destination.

Wayne Rooney

The Manchester United frontman is determined not to work with his former manager David Moyes once again, whom United have given the charge after Sir Alex Ferguson. It has been confirmed by Ferguson himself that Rooney has asked for a transfer out from the club and the club is determined not to let him go. But if Rooney does not decide to change his mind fast, he may soon be seen wearing some other colours. There is no shortage of offers for Rooney though, whom both Arsenal and Chelsea would like to have in their ranks. Ligue 1 club PSG are also pretty interested to sign the English forward and have reportedly made a huge offer to him.

Luis Suarez

It would be a shame for both the club and the player if they have to part ways with each other in the summer, but judging by the recent incidents now Suarez’s exit from Liverpool looks more and more imminent. Suarez has been one of the best players in the league this season, and has been the sole reason for Liverpool’s impressive attacking flair. But the player who has scored 23 goals this season has been part of such massive controversies that finally the fans are getting restless with him wanting him to make a multi-million move to Real Madrid. Real also intend to strengthen their squad and Suarez might be just what they need. So Liverpool should be optimistic for an offer from Real, through which the club can make some good cash.

Edin Dzeko

The 27 year old Manchester City striker has earned the title of super-sub because of his knack to come off the bench and make an instant impact on the game. But Dzeko is not happy for the reason that he wants to have more playing time and that seems a bit problem at City with the likes of Aguero and Tevez.

Carlos Tévez is expected to be offered a two-year contract extension at Manchester City, which ultimately means Dzeko’s problems will continue next season as well. It is better that the Bosnian Dzeko may just respond to the interests shown on him by Napoli and Chelsea and pretty soon he may be a player of some other club.

P.S: I am no way suggesting the strikers  would definitely leave their respective clubs – talking about the possibility!
