Aon Expands Sponsorship Deal With Manchester United

Aon and Manchester United have completed a long-term expansion to their sponsorship deal. Manchester United agreed to change their training facility’s name to “the Aon Training Complex”, and the players will wear jerseys with Aon logo.

United commercial director Richard Arnold said,

“I am delighted this cements our relationship with Aon for a further eight years,”

Even though the worth of the deal is kept undisclosed, it is believed that the deal worth more than $30 million per annum for United. The new agreement lasts until 2021.

United also reassured fans that naming rights for Old Trafford will not be sold.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said,

“Old Trafford (naming rights) will not be sold,”

Meanwhile, Aguero’s stunner  ended United’s 4 1/2-month unbeaten run in the league, but it looks like the result will only delay the surrender of City’s title as United are still 12 points away at the top with seven games to play in the league.
