More rest period for their top stars
Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, and Olivier Giroud, well most of the Arsenal players did not really have a proper rest during this off-season thanks to the World Cup in Brazil, while most teams also faced the same issue, the team had a lot of players away and they did not come back 100% rested. Arsenal should ensure that their top stars have a proper break after this season so that they can come back charged and raring to go for the next season. A proper rest cycle could be the catapult for Arsenal.
A good start to the season
More than anything, Arsene needs to ensure that his club gets a decent start in the first half of the season. If they are somewhere close to the top 3 come January, they will always have a chance of making it. This season proved just how good they can be in the second half of the season, where they are one of the form teams in Europe. Arsenal would have learned from this season more than any and that could be crucial in their search for Premier League glory next season.
A fit squad
Arsenal this season have missed a lot of their stars through various injuries, Walcott, Giroud, Ozil, and Wilshere have missed huge chunks of the season and if they can be fit enough to play most of the games together they could do something great in the Premier League. Arsenal could do really well if they can keep this bunch of players fit for a majority of the next season.
Second season syndrome? Not a problem
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil playing together would be a devastating pair next season as well, while Sanchez has done miles better than the German this season, they have developed something of a connection with the other players as well. Arsenal would be pleased with the robustness of Sanchez in a new league and that would come in good stead when they make a charge for the title. The two players would be pivotal for the club if they are to win a Premier League crown and snatch it away from Jose Mourinho.
Deadwood is gone!
Arsenal could do the best thing this off-season as they would be getting rid of the deadwood in the side. The likes of Szczesny, Diaby, Mertesacker, Rosicky could all be leaving the club and that would not only open avenues for a lot of youngsters who are coming up the ranks at Arsenal but could give Arsene Wenger the chance to splash the cash and buy another top talent. He has done it with the purchases of Ozil and Sanchez over the past two seasons and it would come as no surprise if he breaks the bank again to sign another top talent, someone who could be that X factor for Arsenal if they are to win the Premier League.
