Reports from the Guardian suggests that, Chelsea consider a summer move for Atlético Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann. The French International has set La Liga on fire since his summer arrival, with over 25 goals scored in his first season.
It has been said that Jose Mourinho wants to bring in as many as four players this summer, with the likes of Petr Cech, Filipe Luis and Didier Drogba are all set to depart Stamford Bridge. With Costa and Fabregas’s success, having moved from Spain, Griezmann could follow their steps and move from Vicente Calderón.
The Blues are also linked with Real Madrid defender Varane to replace the ageing John Terry and Gary Cahill. With the news coming in just days after the Blues picked up their first league trophy in Mourinho’s second spell, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to react on the rumour. Here are some tweets.
