FPL Tips: Game Week 33

Fantasy Premier League players have just a few more game weeks to go before the end of the season, picking up those crucial points can make all the difference. There are a few clubs who are in an exceptional form such as Leicester and Tottenham while a few are battling it out for a top-four spot, such as West Ham and Manchester United.

This week sees a few exceptional battles such as the Tottenham-Manchester United clash and the West Ham-Arsenal derby and with so much to play for; we list out the five players who could get your Fantasy Premier League team points.

  1. Alex Iwobi
Alex Iwobi, Arsenal

The young Nigerian has been amongst the goals ever since playing for the Gunners in the tie against Barcelona. Arsenal might have lost that game but they have unearthed the next big thing in Premier League football in Alex Iwobi.

The attacker scored in his last game as well for the Gunners and with the side set to face West Ham, who have been leaking goals of late, Iwobi could well be on the score sheet to give Arsenal some precious points as well as those who pick him in their side.

2. Dimitri Payet

If Alex Iwobi is the player on form for Arsenal, there is one player who has hit the high notes ever since he joined the Premier League and that is West Ham’s Dimitri Payet. The French midfielder certainly knows a thing or two about scoring and he did that in the game against Crystal Palace.

Free-kicks are Payet’s specialty and Arsenal have to be wary of his threat also regarding passes and assists. Payet might well be on his way to the Euros and his form should ensure West Ham also make it to some sort of European competition.

3. Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin de Bruyne

What a difference one player makes to the team. Kevin De Bruyne’s return to the side has given them another dimension and Manchester City look the force they once were at the start of the campaign.

The young Belgian was amongst the goals against in Paris and he should be one player who could provide a lot of points with his assist or goals. A fit De Bruyne could have been key to City’s title charge but he can now play a role in their Champions League quest.

4. Pedro

Pedro

The Spanish star has not had the best of times since his much spoken about move from Barcelona to London. Pedro came here to prove that he not only has it to perform in the Premier League but also to prove to Barcelona that he should have been playing more in the first team.

Barca might not need the winger anymore thanks to their MSN but Pedro hasn’t shown his ability all throughout the season. Fortunately, he did score a brace against a hapless Villa side last time around and he could be amongst the scorers again in the next match against Swansea.

5. Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane

The Southampton player might have been a bit off in their last game against Leicester but he should have scored one goal at least. While the Leicester juggernaut rolled on, Mane has shown that he can be the difference for the Saints when he is up for it.

He was excellent against Liverpool and he should be one player to keep an eye on as the speedy winger faces a Newcastle defence that really cannot keep a clean sheet and seem destined for the drop.
