3 Youngsters To Watch Out For This Season (PL): Featuring An Ex-Liverpool Winger And A Chelsea Star

Share

With Raheem Sterling signing for Manchester City, the onus seems to be on getting the best young players as soon as possible. The £49-million fee for the English attacker might seem steep, but that is the price you pay for someone who is that talented and young.

Every club wants to have a bunch of great youngsters who want to break into the first team in hopes of making it big in the Premier League and we look at 3 youngsters who would be looking to make an impact this season.

1. Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling

Where else can we start? Raheem feels more like a veteran in the game of football than a young 20-year-old. He might have lost a few friends in his tantrum to move away from Liverpool, but it proves just how big expectations are of the attacker.

Sterling was Liverpool’s best outfield player and that was some doing last season. The player scored 7 goals in the Premier League and was the go-to guy for most of the attacks from the Merseyside club. Sterling now has the added pressure of playing in the Blue of City but more importantly for the £49 million he could cost. He now has a chance of playing for a club that challenges for titles, it will be worth seeing just what he does this season.

2. Delle Ali

Many might not have heard about Tottenham’s young star, but Delle Ali certainly made a name for himself when he was playing for lower league MK Dons. The English midfield might have spent a lot of time at the Dons, but he could be looking to step-up in the Premier League.

He is a typical box to box midfielder which is something of a miss in this day and age of football. He has goals in him and a ton of ability, instead of wanting another move on loan, Delle Ali could be making it big for Tottenham this coming season. Paulino and Capoue have been sold by Spurs and this could just be the opportunity Ali has been looking for.

3. Bertrand Traore

You know you are going to be something great when Jose Mourinho personally wants you at the club. Traore recently got his work visa for Britain after spending last season away at Holland. Bertand was transformed from a winger to a striker last season and he banged in 17 goals for Vitesse Arnhem.

Traore is travelling with Chelsea for their preseason and could turn out to be that unknown quantity for the Blues this season. We all know that Jose will give chances to a few players throughout the season and this could be the season for Bertand to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
