According to a report from the Sun, La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have bid a humungous £71million for Leicester City’s promising young left-back Ben Chilwell.
The 22-year-old academy graduate has been a revelation in the Premier League and has attracted interest from champions Manchester City in recent weeks.
Chilwell still has 5 years left on his current deal with the Foxes, which should fill Leicester fans with the confidence of keeping him beyond the end of the transfer window.
But turning down a bid as huge as £71million for a player who has cost the club nothing in terms of transfer fees will be a difficult decision.
A fee as big as the reported £71million will give Leicester the option of massively bolstering their squad in the summer, which would help in achieving their ambitions of qualifying for the Europa League next season.
If Leicester do decide to accept the monstrous bid for Chilwell, they should consider signing these three players:
The Belgian spent the second half of the season at the King Power on loan from Ligue 1 side Monaco and he was brilliant. Tielemans scored three goals and assisted five in just 13 appearances for the Foxes, who should move in for a permanent deal this summer.
Daily Mail claims that Monaco will demand a hefty £40million to part ways with Tielemans in the summer but at just 22 years of age, he would definitely be worth every penny. Leicester should have no second thoughts about signing him permanently in the summer.
The Hull City man has been brilliant in the Championship this season, having scored a staggering 22 goals. He has been linked with the Foxes after his stunning campaign and signing him would solve a key problem for them next season.
Rachid Ghezzal and Demarai Gray have both been hugely disappointing for Leicester this season and Bowen would comfortably slot in on the right flank.
His dribbling and goalscoring prowess will certainly benefit Rodgers next season. They’ve been linked with a £15million move and even if Hull demand more, Leicester should be able to sign the player.

The RB Leipzig attacker has struggled for game time in the Bundesliga since the departure of Ralph Hasenhuttl, who is now at the helm of Southampton. Augustin would be a fantastic fit at Leicester, especially under Rodgers’ style of play.
Augustin can play anywhere across the front three and he would definitely add goals to this Foxes side.
The Frenchman is electric and in a few years, he would be an ideal replacement for Jamie Vardy. Augustin will be available for £17.5million, which would be a bargain for a player of his quality.
