3 factors which will stop Chelsea from winning the Premier League Title
Anyone who has seen the squad list for the major Premier League teams will point out that no team has the same depth and quality per position as Chelsea. They have world class talent for each spot and world class cover for the same. It is no wonder that many top pundits and bookmakers have installed Chelsea as the team to win the Premier League and them being 4 points ahead of their closest rival, Southampton, yes you read that right, is testament to the team that Jose Mourinho has put together this season.
Over the last two games we have seen a side of Chelsea that we haven’t seen a lot this season. They didn’t blow away either Queens Park Rangers or Manchester United with their attack and they conceded sloppy goals in both games suggesting there may be a bit more to the Premier League race than predicted.
Here are 3 factors which can stop Chelsea from winning the Premier League
1: Injuries to the strike force:
When you look at the Chelsea strike force, they have one World class striker in Diego Costa and then you have Loic Remy who is at best a squad player and Didier Drogba, who is nothing more than an emotional buy. Costa is injury prone with Mourinho having outbursts against the Spanish national team and the treatment of Costa. If Costa gets injured for a reasonable amount of time, Chelsea could be in trouble.
2: Jose’s cautious approach:
Mourinho believes in shoring up the defense first before thinking about the attack which can work against the team, it happened against Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Stoke City last year and with the London giants losing to all three clubs away. Sunderland even broke Jose’s infamous Stamford Bridge unbeaten record with a win. It probably was Chelsea’s title to lose last season as well and they did lose it due to some dire performances at the lesser bankrolled teams, that could easily happen this year as well.
3: Cancelling the Cesc factor:
Arsenal might not have wanted to sign him but since his return to the Premier League, CescFabregas has hit the high notes people expected of him. With 9 assists and 1 goal in 10 games in the league, he is finally enjoying his football and has been given a free role in the midfield to link up with the attack. Sitting behind the front 3 and being the orchestrator, if teams nullify his creativity in midfield, this would greatly hamper Chelsea’s march to the title. In last few seasons with Barcelona, Cesc’s form dropped during the second half of the seasons. This can be a factor too.
Experiencing a live football match in a stadium is genuinely remarkable. The atmosphere differs significantly from watching on a screen. The energy and excitement are contagious, immersing you in the game like never before. If you're gearing up for your inaugural football match, knowing what to expect is essential. The sheer intensity of being surrounded by hundreds or thousands of passionate fans can be overwhelming. To ensure you make the most of this unique experience, here are some tips for first-timers: Secure Tickets Early Getting tickets is crucial, especially for popular events like the World Cup or highly anticipated matches. Buying online is often the most convenient method. As the season progresses, ticket demand increases, leading to quick sell-outs. Prices can vary based on team popularity, stadium quality, and other factors. You can think about buying your tickets in cryptocurrency. Consider using USDT but first understand tether meaning to know how to go about it. If you have a specific team or player you want to see, plan accordingly by checking their schedule and securing tickets early for the best experience. …
