1. Dominate midfield

Arsenal have one of the best midfields in the Premier League, containing the likes of Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and others. They are capable of playing some wonderful passing football, and when in full flow, it is difficult to get the ball off them. Arsenal, even though they will be away from home, will have to hog the ball in order to ensure that Liverpool have less opportunity build up attacks.

Keeping possession of the ball will also mean that Liverpool will have to work that much harder, and in the absence of Lucas, Gerrard will find it difficult to keep up with the sharp passing and swift interplay between the Arsenal midfielders. 2. Stop SAS
