3 Players Who Can Instantly Replace Suarez At Liverpool

Share

Now it’s just a matter of time. The inevitable is waiting to happen and soon we will be able to see an official confirmation on the Barcelona website relating to Suarez joining the Catalans. As much as that would sadden the Liverpool fans, the team management cannot go on thinking about the loss and rather think about having adequate replacements in the team.

Now let’s be pragmatic and admit that it is impossible for Liverpool to replace perhaps one of the top three players of the world. Luis Suarez has been a tremendous influence and it would be absolutely breathtaking for Liverpool to get a player even half as good as him. What they should rather stress for is to upgrade their squad like Napoli did last time when Cavani left them for a hefty sum of money. Still they should make that attempt and try to take one among these three strikers to fill the void.

1. Mario Mundzukic

The Bayern Munich star is set to leave the club after they managed to get Robert Lewandowski for a free. Mundzukic has not had the best of the World Cup, but there is absolutely no denying his class and his winning mentality that he has displayed for the German champions over the years. The Croatian striker is not in shortage of clubs as Atletico Madridhave already targeted him as the next replacement of Diego Costa and as per reports even Arsenal are monitoring the player. Liverpool would do good with a player of his calibre as he would be a vital force in front of the goal and with the proper supply line, he can bring in the goals at the club.

2. Mario Balotelli

The former Manchester City striker is on the verge of quitting AC Milan as the club chairman cannot stress enough of his desire to move ahead with the controversial striker. Balotelli certainly has his share of flaws, but still he is one of the most exciting prospects in world football. His physicality can be put to good use by Liverpool and the fact that he has already played in the English Premier League would go to the advantage of the Kops. It would be a hectic job for manager Brendan Rodgers to keep the Italian calm in crucial moments, but the young manager has that trait in him and he can also make Balotelli one of the best in the world.

3. Loic Remy

The QPR striker spent last season on loan at Newcastle to play in the Premier League and he has been the most attractive thing about the club. The Frenchman is an excellent goal poacher and that shows everytime he takes the field. Liverpool do have an impressive midfield and Remy would also hugely benefit from a move to Liverpool where he would get better companions than he has got till now. Liverpool on their hand, would be getting a striker, capable of scoring 20 goals a season with the right support. Like SAS, Remy and Sturridge could be a fearsome combination in the Premier League.
