This 18-year-old right back took to the field against Spurs and performed out of his skin. Remember the name, Alexander-Arnold. He was praised by Steven Gerrard in his autobiography, My Story, in which the legendary midfielder has singled out this young man as one for the future and lauded the qualities at his disposal. Alexander-Arnold was also praised by Liverpool legend Graeme Souness for his fearless performance, in which he looked quite confident going forward and while defending. That is quite a big compliment. He should look to put in performances such as these even in the future when given a chance.

This central midfielder looks to be a late-bloomer at best as he has to bide his time when it comes to getting regular first-team opportunities at Liverpool. Although he is 23, he still has plenty of time on his hands to make himself a name at Anfield. That he has made quite a few appearances off the bench this season should hold him in good stead. It also shows that Klopp trusts him enough. He was tidy against Spurs as he did what was expected of him and put in a decent performance that would’ve helped him stake a claim for himself in Liverpool’s line up for future games. If he continues like this, it’s only a matter of time before he truly establishes himself as a top footballer.
