The Daily Express mentioned that Van Gaal is looking to bring the dazzling Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger to United after the World Cup. Van Gaal is believed to be a huge fan of the 29-year-old’s work and wants him to help revolutionize United’s midfield next season. The German midfielder is a brilliant passer of the ball, who can drive any team with his energy and the ability to change any game by the scruff off the neck. It now remains to be seen whether United can agree a fee with Bayern for Schweinsteiger as they look to push ahead with a deal.
