Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal were lucky to take a point from their previous round of the Premier League against the Cherries and that draw saw them drop into the 5th place in the points table. The manager will hope that his team can get back to winning ways quickly but they face a tricky test away at the Liberty Stadium this weekend. The Swans have hit rock bottom this season and Paul Clement knows that he has a mountain to climb in the rest of the season. The Gunners are expected to take all three points from this game but with the quality at their disposal, Swansea may yet give the visitors a shock. Wenger is expected to get back his big guns for this clash and here is the predicted lineup he might field for this game:

Team News:

The Gunners are still without the services of Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Debuchy and Per Mertesacker for this game. Mohamed Elneny, Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin are also on the absentee list while star midfielder Mesut Ozil is expected to be back in action after getting back to training earlier this week. Fullbacks Hector Bellerin and Kieran Gibbs are also expected to be back fit with the former set to start at the weekend.

Expected lineup (4-2-3-1):

Petr Cech:

One of the most impressive players for Arsenal this season, Cech is important to their progress this season and is the first choice shot-stopper for his side.

Hector Bellerin:

Coming back from an ankle injury, Bellerin, who was nervy in the previous game, is expected to start this game against Swansea.

Laurent Koscielny:

The French defender is easily one of the best in the Premier League and he will have to be at his best to keep Swansea away from danger.

Shkodran Mustafi:

The summer buy for Wenger, Mustafi has cemented a place in the starting XI for the Gunners this season and will keep his place in the side for this clash.

Nacho Monreal:

With Gibbs just coming back from injury, Monreal remains the only choice for Wenger for the left-back position for the weekend.

Granit Xhaka:

The Swiss international has not impressed the manager to cement a place in the side but with injuries to key players, he will get his chance in the midfield for Arsenal.

Aaron Ramsey:

The Welsh midfielder is slowly growing in confidence this season and he has the potential of winning this game for Arsenal.

Alex Iwobi:

The young winger has been a disappointment so far, even though he scored some decisive goals, but he might get another chance in this game against Swansea.

Mesut Ozil:

Having missed the last few games with an injury, Ozil, who is just back in training, will hope to make an immediate impact and win his side the game.

Alexis Sanchez:

The Chilean has been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League this season playing as a false-9, but he might play on the left-wing on the night at the Liberty Stadium.

Olivier Giroud:

Having just signed a new contract with Arsenal, Giroud will hope to repay the faith, by scoring and winning this game for his side.
