It has been a while since Renato Sanches has been linked with a potential move to Manchester United. The Red Devils have been looking out for the player for some time now and according to recent reports the club will now be putting in serious efforts to sign the player.
Reports suggest that United’s former manager and current Director Sir Alex Fergusson has given the Club a go ahead in signing the player. Sir Alex has recommended that United sign the Bnefica midfield after he watched the youngster play in the Portuguese League as well as the Champions League.
United scouts share Sir Alex’s views regarding the player and recommend that the Red Devil’s “break their bank”, as the statement goes, to sign the player. Sanches has a £46m release clause included in his contract which he signed after he broke into Benfica’s first teams.
If the transfer goes through Sanches’ will be the most expensive teenager to come to United after Anthony Martial.
