Chelsea have been linked with PSG defender Thiago Silva in the January transfer window, however the club was not able to sign the player as they failed to reach an agreement with PSG for the player.
With Ramires’ move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning in a £25m deal in January, Chelsea’s midfield has weakened. Matic nor Mikel have been able to bolster their performances in the midfield. Thus, Chelsea has been looking to add a midfielder in to their squad and have been eyeing French player Blaise Matuidi for the same.
Matuidi is considered to be one of the key players for PSG. According to L’Equipe, Matuidi is open for a move to the Premier League and has been valued at 30 million Euros by PSG.
The 28-year-old is vastly experienced and is a regular feature in French International and is expected to bolster Chelsea’s Midfield.
