According to a report from The Sun, Wolves are one of the Premier League clubs interested in signing Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson.
Wilson, 22, was in sensational form for Derby County last season. He netted 18 goals and registered six assists for Frank Lampard’s team.
Despite enjoying a fantastic loan spell at Pride Park, it remains to be seen whether the Wales international would be able to force his way into the first team at Anfield, although Jurgen Klopp may be keen to send him back out on loan for the 2019/20 campaign.
The likes of Brighton and Aston Villa are also interested in Wilson and while he could still leave on loan again, Wolves must sign the 22-year-old wide-man from Liverpool permanently this summer.
Wolves surpassed their expectations upon their return to the Premier League last season, bagging a seventh-placed finish on the table.
The Midlands outfit showed their ambitions last summer by spending heavily in the summer transfer market and now that they’ll be in the Europa League qualifiers, a much bigger squad will be needed at the Molineux.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo is yet to sign anyone during this transfer window but with time running out, he needs to persuade the club to accelerate the transfer dealings.
Following the departures of Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa, Wolves have become a bit light in the attack. As aforementioned they need a bigger squad this time around to compete on all fronts next campaign and thus, signing Harry Wilson would be a step in the right direction.
During his time with Derby County, Wilson, predominantly a right-winger, played out wide, through the middle behind the striker and even in a deeper central midfield role.
Such versatility should certainly appeal to the highly tactical Nuno, who has employed a free-flowing, counter-attacking football at the Molineux.
A technically-gifted operator, Wilson can create and score goals in equal measure.
A good dribbler of the ball, the Welshman has been highly credited with his pace, power, playmaking and crossing skills. He also possesses a great set-piece threat, which will come in handy for Wolves.

Nuno prefers his players to press higher up the pitch from the blow of the whistle and a tireless player like Wilson will thrive in such a system.
The Portuguese manager backs youth and the development of players like Morgan Gibbs-White and Ruben Vinagre bodes well for any possible deal that the Wanderers can strike with Liverpool for their prized possession.
All in all, Wolves must quickly thrash out a deal with Liverpool for the transfer of Harry Wilson.
