The January transfer window might not be one where Arsene buys too many players but he can shed the load at Arsenal by getting rid of a few players. Arsenal might even dip into the market if they get the right players off their books. Arteta might have starred for the team a couple of seasons ago but his consistent injury issues have reduced his playing time for the team.
Arteta has only made 20 appearances for the club since the 2014 season and that would not be good enough for someone who makes as much money as he does. Arteta might be one of the more technically gifted players in the team but the rise in stock of Cazorla, Coquelin and Ramsey in midfield; it could well spell the end of the Spanish star.
