Manchester United is having an awful season and could actually use a lot of help in almost every sector of the pitch if they want to take momentum back on their side and actually have a shot to be on the list of top 4 teams once again and return to the UEFA Champions League after a couple of seasons being relegated from the competition.

Mourinho better starts to take a look at his options off the bench or else he’ll should appeal to this January’s transfer window to acquire some talent that could help his side reach the top of the table once again, as Manchester United needs to do something right now or they won’t get out of this nightmare in the foreseeable future.

Having said that, United has a lot of options that could be a great fit for them, and almost every young player dreams of playing at Old Trafford, so they won’t need much convincing to make that big move and become a Red Devil. So, what should Manchester United look for in a new player?

The answer to that question is actually pretty simple, as what the red devils need right now is versatility and youth, and there’s a player that has both and could be a great addition to Mourinho’s side if the Glazers decide to try and make a run at him, and that guy is Benjamin Henrichs. According to the reports from the Sun, the Devils are hot on the trail of Bayer Leverkusen whizkid Benjamin Henrichs.

Henrichs is one of the latest big prospects of this German generation of talented youngsters, and the Bayer Leverkusen starlet is starting to catch the attention of scouts of the biggest clubs in the world due to his ability to play in several spots of the field with great ease and success.

The German can play either as a midfielder or as a right or left back, as he’s more than capable of carrying the ball with both feet and his awareness and defensive ability makes him a very interesting player that could have a great career at almost any club in the world right now.

Henrichs is just 19 years old, so you know he’s far away from his prime and has a lot of room to grow, but he’s already shown that he’s more than ready to contribute for a contender, making more than a dozen of appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this year, even featuring at his team’s games at the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United is currently on the need of a good fullback, as Mourinho isn’t pleased with Matteo Darmian or Luke Shaw, and Antonio Valencia will remain sidelined with an arm injury at least for a little while longer.

On top of that, he could provide great help for Ander Herrera, as Mourinho refuses to give an opportunity to Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick, and Fellaini is having a terrible season and should be sent to the bench as soon as possible.

Last but not least, Benjamin will surely not be an expensive purchanse, so you know you’re in front of a bargain considering how versatile and talented this youngster is, so they should definitely try to pursue him and bring him to Old Trafford.
