Well, it seems to be getting interesting day by day. Being an Arsenal fan can have its share of perks and laughs. After the media were continuously reporting that the north London side are in need of a world-class striker, especially Karim Benzema throughout the summer, the Frenchman cleared that he would not be moving to the Emirates.
Further, it seems now that the Gunners are preparing a bid for Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin, as per claims.
The 24-year-old forward managed to score a tally of 39 goals in 166 league games for the Russian side during his career, which might not be as impressive as other targets that manager Arsene Wenger had in mind, like Benzema and Edinson Cavani.
However, it seems Arsenal might look to complete this move out of desperation, as the French manager is in need of another striker who could be a good alternative to Olivier Giroud.
The reaction of some of the fans on Twitter were quite funny:
Please don’t sign Kokorin. #afc pic.twitter.com/rqjytYSxT6

Linked with Benzema, Cavani and Lacazette, and now we might sign Kokorin. Great job arsenal

I don’t know what a Kokorin is and i don’t want to #Arsenal

Who in the blue hell is #Kokorin? His stats look terrible… He’s from a poor side in an average league… “We will only buy quality” hmm

If the best striker Arsenal sign is Kokorin then I give up

I’d be lying if I said I’ve heard of Kokorin

Alexander Kokorin? Is this some russian novelist i’ve read in school?
— Jeff Cech (@StockholmGooner) August 26, 2015
If there’s a god he won’t let Kokorin join Arsenal

Krychowiak and Kokorin would be strengthening our weak areas.. Still not the big signing we need though
— Frankie Devitt (@DevittFrankie) August 26, 2015
Kokorin would be a typical AW signing. Unknown to most and not scored more than 10 league goals in a season 😑 #Arsenal

Wenger isn’t stupid enough to sign that Kokorin person
— Emeka (@ohafia_bOi) August 26, 2015
@Arsenal We don’t want Kokorin… Buy us Cavani you fools… We are tired!
