Ron Vlaar completes move to Aston Villa from Feyenoord

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Dutch international defender Ron Vlaar from Feyenoord. The arrival of centre-back Vlaar, will be a welcome boost for the Villa defense which has seen the departures of James Collins and Cuellar this summer.

The 28-year-old defender, who left West Ham for Villa in September 2009, passed a medical on Tuesday and becomes West Hams seventh summer signing.

  • Reports from London says Cazorla will fly to London to complete his medical after a 17 million pounds bid from Arsenal is finally accepted by Malaga. Transfer is expected to be completed by end of this week.

  • Santos will only sell Ganso if the bidding club is ready to match the buy out clause of his contract.
  • Real Madrid wants to sign Dembele as backup for their star studded attacking lineup. Fulham is ready to listen to offers for the player since he is in his last year of the contract at the London club.
  • Among other Madrid rumors, Real Madrid are threatening to pull out of a £36m deal for Modric because Spurs want more money up front.
  • Neymar to Barcelona is back on and reports suggest the deal will be finalized in a weeks time.
