Alex Teixeira willing to leave Shaktar Donetsk has put Liverpool in an alert mode. While Liverpool will be facing competition from Chelsea for the player, the Reds have already put a £24.6million bid for the player.

Speaking to Brazilian newspaper O Globo cited by Telegraph, Teixeira said: “I would like to move in this transfer window and have told them [Shakhtar] that. It is my desire to move to a big league and I know that the English league is very strong. I am ready and I know that I will grow up a lot there. I am aware that two big clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea are interested but I haven’t given my word to either of them.

Elsewhere, reports suggest that the Reds are already having negotiations for the Portuguese left-back Raphael Guerreiro. Guerreiro’s style of play is said to be similar to what Klopp looks for into a player while he coaches them. Although, the Reds boss is looking to bring the player to Anfield in the summer he is already facing competition from Napoli, Inter Milan, Roma and Juventus. – Reports Metro.

Liverpool are facing tough competition from various clubs linked with Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi. While Chelsea are also keen on the player Inter Milan might turn out be the tougher competition to beat as the Serie A club are offering £2.65 million-a-year plus bonuses to the player on personal terms.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Inter have increased their original deal to secure his signature ahead of their European rivals.
