Why Watford’s Richarlison Will Earn His Move To A Big Club Soon

New Premier League season has not failed to surprise the fans with its unpredictability and high competitiveness. Both the Manchester clubs have been ruthless so far, Spurs are picking up following a slow start whereas Chelsea, the defending champions, are struggling to secure desired outcomes alongside Liverpool and Arsenal who are also failing to get a grip on their Premier League results.

But sides like Watford, Burnley, Newcastle United, and Huddersfield Town have surpassed all expectations so far and are fighting alongside the heavyweights in the top half of the league table. Watford, particularly, have been in sensational form under new boss Marco Silva and are currently placed 4th in the table ahead of the big guns Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

The young Portuguese gaffer showed glimpses his touch of class last season despite failing to save Hull City’s relegation at the end. He has now got a full season to impress and his new signing Richarlison is helping him out in clinching results on a regular basis.

The 20-year-old Brazilian was snapped up from Fluminense in the summer for a fee of around £11.5m and was eligible to feature against Liverpool in opening weekend clash at Vicarage Road after successfully receiving his work permit in time. Richarlison represented his country in U20s and had an impressive run for his previous employers in the Brazilian league. He earned his Premier League debut as a second-half substitute and impressed immediately with his footwork, dribbling skill and movements.

He contributed in Watford’s late equaliser against the Reds which earned them a point and delivered a stellar show against Bournemouth in the following weekend as he scored his first goal for the Hornets. He again made it into the scoresheet against Swansea City and grabbed a late winner for his side.

Richarlison helped his side to script a comeback against West Brom in the following weekend despite being down by two goals as he set up one for Abdoulaye Doucoure and found an equaliser in the final minute of second-half stoppage time to snatch a point from the game. His scintillating run continued this past weekend too when he earned a spot-kick for his team when they were down by a goal against Arsenal and staged a late comeback that saw his side clinch a victory.

Richarlison is a top Brazilian talent who has joined the list of fellow countrymen performing splendidly in the league. He took no time to settle in new surroundings and is now growing in confidence with every fixture. He has earned a regular slot in Watford’s left flank. The right-footed attacker is capable of playing as a centre-forward as well as a right-winger and his versatility is already helping Marco Silva in acquiring favorable outcomes.

The season has only started and the youngster has still a lot to do to earn a bigger move. But his early impression has been enough to catch eyes of the league’s heavyweights.
