Video: Kamil Miazek made a string of saves in the reserves league final

Leeds United highlights: Reserves goalkeeper Kamil Miazek turns out to be the hero for Leeds United in the U-23 final.

The Whites went head-to-head with Birmingham in the PDL play-off final.

The game progressed into a penalty shootout after both failed to score a goal in 120 minutes.

The Whites keeper Miazek was the stand-out as he made two crucial saves in the shoot-out, eventually winning 4-2.

Besides that, the Polish shot-stopper also denied a string of  Birmingham’s chances in normal time.

And the fans were in awe following Miazek’s terrific display.

The 22-year began his youth career with Dutch club Feyenoord before signing for Leeds in 2017.

He also represented Poland at various age levels till U-21.

Future at Elland Road

Miazek has a chance to shine at higher levels after this courageous display.

With Kiko Casilla being first choice shot-stopper, the Polish youth prospect will be facing a battle with the stand-by keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The Northern Irish man hasn’t featured much in Marcelo Bielsa’s playing 11, with the former Real Madrid star blockading his presence.

However, Farrell still managed to shine in the Euro Qualifiers, as his side picked up two wins. He also made some spectacular saves in the process.
