Twitter Reactions For Arsenal’s £40,000,001 Bid For Luis Suarez

Is it a brilliant move or just plain stupid from Arsenal to launch an audacious £40,000,001 bid for Liverpool’s want away striker Luis Suarez? The bid was obviously designed to trigger a clause in the Uruguayan’s contract which will force Liverpool into allowing Suarez to have talks with them.

Quoted by the Telegraph Liverpool have turned down Arsenal’s latest offer of £40 million – plus a pound – which was made by Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis during a telephone conversation with Anfield managing director Ian Ayre. As a response to the Gunners unusual bid, Liverpool owner John W Henry Tweeted “What do you think they’re smoking over there at Emirates?” today morning which certainly triggered a foray of tweets both from Arsenal fans and the neutral ones.

Here is the collection of some of the hilarious tweets that we came across, starting with John W Henry’s tweet.

And the latest reports from BBC suggests that, Suarez wants to hold talks with Arsenal.
