Oscar

Chelsea announced the signing of Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Junior (Oscar) in their official website. The transfer fee is reported be around 25 million pounds.

Oscar may have to fight for his place with the likes of Marin and Hazard in midfield.

He is now in London with Brazil Olympics team and also featured in their 2-0 friendly win over Great Britain.

Luka Modric

After Andre Villas-Boas slammed Modric for missing out the preseason friendly in USA, Modric have come out and apologized to his behavior.

The Portuguese boss declined to name his side’s asking price for their star man, who is being chased by Real Madrid, but gave a revealing insight into the current situation.

“He’s now training and we hopefully make the right decision in the future. We’re just waiting on the bidding clubs to offer the right value for a player of big dimension.

“Hopefully the situation can be solved in either of two ways:

  1. Any bidding clubs must meet the demands of Tottenham regarding the player’s value
  2. The player will continue training and returns to club duty.”

With a new turn around today morning, it was reported that big spending PSG are also interested in Modric and can swoop in on him with a bigger amount if Madrid cannot pursue spurs to sell him.

Robin Van Persie

With interests from Manchester city , United and Juventus, it is very tough for the club and the manager to hold on the player who just had his most impressive season in England.

Arsenal have already rejected offers for Van Persie, who they value at around £20m, from United and Juventus and Wenger is adamant that he does not want to sell their captain and has already set a deadline for Van Persie to sort out his future.

Wenger who spoke in a press conference in China today, ahead of Arsenal’s game with Man City on Friday,

“The options are clear. We want to keep our players. I would be happy for him to stay in the Premier League – at Arsenal.”

“We are not at the end of it [transfers]. We will still bring players in.” has promised more new recruits at Arsenal after adding attacking duo Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud to his squad already this summer.

And when asked about Spain international Cazorla, Wenger did not disclose whether he is trying to sign him or not.

“You see I have come here to say as little as possible,” joked Wenger. He also added, “I am ready to talk a lot, but not a lot about transfers, because it is a very fragile subject and a very secret subject.

KAKA

AC Milan could be resigning Kaka, their CEO Adriano Galliani has claimed that they are interested in signing their former Champions league winning midfielder.

The Brazil international who is reportedly not very happy with his lack of first team chances at the Santiago Bernabeu could leave Madrid and if Milan offered a right price for him, he could be on his way back to Italy having previously had a glorious career there.

Milan is understood to be one of the prime candidates to secure his services, and even though his wage demands could pose a problem for the Rossoneri, but Galliani has opened the door for a Kaka return.

“Certain love never ends. They go around on a big journey, and then they return,” Galliani stated to reporters when questioned on a potential move for the playmaker.

Meanwhile, Marca reports that a decision on the player’s future will be made in the next 72 hours.

It is believed that if Kaka is not included in the Madrid team for the friendly game against Benfica on Friday, he is expected to be omitted from the squad for the pre-season trip to the USA, making a transfer inevitable.
