A report in Catalan newspaper Sport’s Saturday edition’s cover confirmed Chelsea’s approach for Barcelona winger Pedro. Reportedly, Jose Mourinho was looking to add yet another attacker to his current squad and will look to bring the Spanish international to Stamford Bridge, who is priced at around €20m.
It would mean that Pedro has to make a serious decision now with his future hanging in the balance. Earlier reports revealed that the 27-year-old superstar recently turned down offers from Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, preferring to join the English champions.
Apart from these English Clubs, Ligue 1 champions PSG also were turned down by Pedro but a move to England still seems to be on the cards and is attracting him.
With the Blues looking to sign him, it would be interesting to see whether a deal does go through or not, as the Portuguese boss aims to win the Champions League this season.
