Top 5 Liverpool Goals This Season – Featuring The Awesome Goal Against Manchester United

Share

After the arrival of the German mastermind, Liverpool has experienced a great change in themselves. The side will be playing their 2nd final under Klopp’s regime. Many players, who were considered as flop last season, have done a great job under Klopp.

The Andfield side finished 8th this term, and I’m pretty sure that the Reds will go higher in the next season. Klopp brought a new energy and a new confidence and the players appeared to follow everything they have been told and that is the reason why the side had a decent success under Klopp.

Defensively the side was weak, but they never had problems in scoring the goals as the side scored 63 goals this season and conceded 50.

Here, we bring you the top 5 Liverpool goals this season-

    1. Daniel Sturridge vs Aston Villa-

Well, the applause must go to James Milner for his exquisite pass, but there was still some work left to do, and Daniel Sturridge did what was expected from him; a left footed volley and bang it’s in!

    1. Martin Skrtel vs Manchester City-

Back in November 2015, Liverpool thrashed Manchester City by 4 goals to 1 at Etihad stadium. Martin Skrtel scored a thunderous volley from inside the box to make it 4 for the visitors and Joe Hart no answers for the strike.

    1. Sheyi Ojo vs Exter City-

Liverpool met Exter in the third round of the FA cup and the hosts had a comfortable victory by 3 goals to nil. The star of the game was the young Sheyi Ojo, who scored through a wonderful calm and composed strike to give his side a further lead.

    1. Philippe Coutinho vs Stoke City-

That was a typical Coutinho goal. He received the ball in the Stoke’s half, beats a man, sprints through another and fired a thunderous shot to beat Jack Butland on the far post.

    1. Christian Benteke vs Manchester United-

Benteke didn’t have a great time in Liverpool’s jersey, but he will always be remembered by that spectacular goal he scored for the side against the arch rivals Manchester United. Well, that was a consolation goal because United were leading comfortably, but the strike was one in a million.
