Southampton may be fading away from their early season rush, and will most likely start to feel the mid season blues, but they have already done enough to make themselves genuine Europa League contenders. Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, Adam Lallana and Gaston Ramirez have all impressed, but no player has been as important as former Olympique Lyon defender Dejan Lovren, who is inarguably one of the best defenders in England. It is likely that the Croatia international will get a big move in January, with Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all needing to refresh their defences.
