Top 5 Chelsea Goals This Season – Featuring The Awesome Goal Against Everton

Share

Chelsea FC, last season’s champions of the English crown failed very badly this season. Not only the manager, but the players also failed to do what was expected from them.

The player of the year for the previous year had one of the worst season in his career and besides him, almost every player performed poorly.

Well, the season is gone now and the side has still managed to finish their campaign in the top half of the table and the credit goes to the Dutch interim manager, Guus Hiddink.

Here, we give you the top 5 goals for Chelsea in 2015-16 season-

5. Willian vs Dynamo Kiev-

Chelsea met Dynamo Kiev in the group stages of the champions league this season. The game ended 2-1 in the favour of the Blues where Willian was the man who puts his side in the front after scoring a breathtaking freekick at the Stampford Bridge.

4. Eden Hazard vs Totteham Hotspur-

Eden Hazard’s strike against Tottenham Hotspurs ended the North London side’s title hopes in a most dramatic fashion. His link-up play with Diego Costa was a delight to watch and the finish was out of this world.

3. Willian vs Southampton-

Another Willian’s masterclass. The recently crowned Chelsea’s player of the year scored this stunning freekick to beat the English goalkeeper Frazer Forster to the far post by picking up a top corner.

2. Eden Hazard vs Liverpool-

This was a typical Eden Hazard strike. The Belgian picked the ball in Liverpool’s half; quick movements, beats the defenders and took a deadly low shot. He missed the most part of the seasson due to injuries and poor form, but his recent performances took him back on the track.

1. Nemanja Matic vs Everton-

This stirke from Matic was a pure venom. He found himself in the space and he positioned himself and fired it towards Everton’s post, and even Tim Howard was unable to stop the strike. Simply the best from the Serbian international Nemanja Matic.
