Top 10 players in EPL to watch out for in the upcoming season.

  • 10. Fernando Torres Torres

After grabbing the golden boot in the Euro 2012 and putting behind a season to forget, this is the season for the 50 million man to prove his worth. With additions like Hazard and Marin to the Chelsea midfield , there is no reason for him not to perform. Since Drogba already left the London club, Toress now have the chance of being the main front man for Chelsea. He is one player definitely to be looked out for.

  • 9. Andy Carrol Carroll

The Liverpool forward has not been able to replicate the performances that made Liverpool purchase him for 35 million. But towards the end of the season we had seen an improve in form which saw getting picked for the England squad. This is a decisive year in the strong forwards career. But since there is speculation surrounding his Anfield future, he would like to sort his future early so that he can concentrate on getting back the magical goal scoring form that he once showed while at Newcastle.

  • 8. Victor Moses Moses

The powerful winger has the speed and power to bully fullbacks. Dave Whelan is trying very hard to ensure the player does not leave the club after Chelsea bid several times for the player. The Nigerian has 6 goals and 6 assists from 37 starts. Even if he stays, he would still be a player to watch out for.

  • 7. Fabio Borini Borini

The former Chelsea man has made his move to Liverpool and proved his talent while playing at Roma. This move of his to Liverpool could make or break  career. Playing alongside the likes of Gerrard and Suarez will definitely bring out the best in him. The fact that he already worked with the current Liverpool manager while his loan spell at Swansea will also help him to settle quickly.

  • 6. Marko Marin Marin

Dubbed as the “German Messi” at one time. After Mesut Ozil left the his former club for Real Madrid, this winger has lost his form. For 7 million this could be a really good bargain for Chelsea if he regains his form which looks very likely from his pre–season performances. He has the magic dribbling skills under his belt, but he needs to improve his play making and shooting to be a top player.

  • 5. Phil Jones Phil Jones

This talented versatile youngster can play as RB, CB or CDM and under the watchful guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson can become a top player. Faced quite a lot of injury problems last season and is also very inconsistent throughout last season. If he can overcome his inconsistency and injury problems, will be a great benefit to the United’s title aspirations.

  • 4. Lukas Podolski Podolski

This German is mainly known for his powerful shots and probing attacks from the left side. He had scored 18 goals (31 appearances) in Bundesliga with his former club FC Koln and he is expected to take No-10 shirt if Van Persie leaves. But can he reproduce the form Van Persie showed? Only he can answer the question.

  • 3. Shinji Kagawa Kagawa

Kagawa is a player who can easily turn out to be the best signing made this summer. For a long time, Manchester United were looking for a creative midfielder. They seem to have found their answer in the Japanese midfielder who left the Bundesliga winners Borussia Dortmund to join United. There were a lot of praises for him from Sir Alex after the pre-season games. With his vision and creative ability, Kagawa will hope to lead his side to League victory.

  • 2. Eden Hazard

After considering many clubs, Hazrad decided to join the European champions. The French League Player Of The Year, is one of the hottest prospects in Europe. A lot is expected from the Belgian who is considered as a defender’s nightmare. With his pace and dribbling ability, he can change the game for his team very easily. He will look to become Chelsea’s chief providers to justify his expensive price tag.

  • 1. Jack Wilshere Wilshere

While Arsenal fans are understandably excited about new signings Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, but Jack’s return would be as good as signing a new world class player for them. We got a glimpse of Wilshere’s immense talent in the 2010-11 Premier League season, but injury woes have since limited the 20-year-old’s first-team action. It is still not clear whether Wilshere will be fit for the start of the new campaign, but his return will likely bring back some of the fluidity we’ve come to expect from the Gunners midfield in recent years.
