This Has Happened Back doors Because Of Manchester United Superstar’s Transfer Saga

David de gea

A source close to Manchester United keeper David de Gea has revealed that the Spanish international “just doesn’t get on” with manager Louis van Gaal anymore, who has recently left him out of the squad, due to Real Madrid’s interest in him. The duo’s relationship has now broken down completely, due to the transfer saga that has been all over the news for quite time now.

De Gea is still determined to leave Old Trafford, as he intends to play for the former European champions, but Sunday Mirror Sport revealed that the Spaniard feels that his position at the club is now untenable by the the Dutchman’s claim that he refused to play.

The source close to the former Atletico Madrid star revealed, “David just doesn’t get on with Van Gaal – and his relationship with goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek is even more strained.”

Former United keeper Edwin van der Sar also spoke about their relationship and said, “It is obvious that there is a lot more going on in the background. There is stuff happening between Louis and De Gea.”

Van der Sar, who is presently working as Ajax’s chief executive added, “I fear he (De Gea) is going to face ten very awkward months.”

“As a former United employee and goalkeeper of the club, I find it astonishing that I see three established goalkeepers – De Gea, Anders Lindegaard and Victor Valdes – in the stand watching United play.”

“Also, Sergio Romero is a free agent who has hardly played a league game over the past two years, yet is in the starting line-up.”

“Cillessen’s name is being mentioned as a replacement for De Gea but, as as a director at Ajax, I am working hard to keep our best player.”
