This £2.13m Chelsea Loanee Would Be A Great Addition To Leeds United This Summer – Agreed?

Isaiah Brown

Isaiah Brown Will Come Good At Leeds United

Though it is sad, expecting a 20-year-old English forward to be given a chance to impress at Chelsea is rather asking a lot in the current climate.

Isaiah Brown is a player looking for such an opportunity but may look to go elsewhere to find them. Currently on loan at Huddersfield, Brown has been impressive this season for both David Wagner’s men and Rotherham with 6 goals and 5 assists in 32 Championship appearances.

One would expect that his performance can only improve in the next few years and so someone really needs to take a chance on him. That responsibility could fall to Leeds United.

It looked interesting when we compared a couple of his stats to those playing in similar positions at Leeds United currently. Spaniards Pablo Hernandez and Alfonso Pedraza get a goal or assist every 180 and 346 minutes respectively. Brown’s own record in that regard is, a goal or assist every 212 minutes this season. Bearing in mind that he gets better with every month that goes by, it is a good record. It must also be remembered that he played the first half of the season for the worst team in the league. Hence, Brown looks like he would be an excellent addition to the Leeds United set-up.

The fact that Leeds, as a club, are a much bigger deal than Huddersfield means that no matter what division they are in, the £2.13m rated attacker would see it as a step up the ladder. Should Leeds make the Premier League via the play-offs, Brown would do well to jump at the chance to play at Elland Road.

For a player of this age, the least amount of disruption would be better. Huddersfield and Leeds are so nearby, that wherever Brown is living and whatever knowledge he has garnered off the local area will not change much, should he decide to make the short hop across West Yorkshire.

Isaiah Brown is undoubtedly a star of the future for club and country.
