Michael Carrick- He has been one of the primary reasons for United’s success over the years, but this season he has not had the same effects. But still a crucial player on his day.
Nani- Giggs is supposed to employ a proper winger, having known the philosophy of the club for so long and Nani suits the criteria better than many of the other players.
Juan Mata- The big money signing from Chelsea would be there in the team and the newly appointed manager would hope that the Spaniard remains at the top of his game to fire United past Norwich. He will be deployed more in a central area. Diamond formation will suit perfectly for this lineup (But will Giggs use it? is the big question)
Valencia- May be deputed with the duty at the other wing with Nani. Although, has had questionable performances, still a trusted member of the club and likely to remain so beyond the summer.
