Liverpool continue their pre-season with another friendly against Malaysia, the Merseyside will be looking to notch up another win and continue their winning start to the pre-season. Liverpool have made quite a few signings and some of them have already impressed the manager, especially the likes of James Milner and Joe Gomez.
The Premier League is just a few weeks away and this match would be one of the last chances for Liverpool to tinker about and get their final formation and players all drilled up for a massive season, especially for Brendan Rodgers. The best Liverpool player and the most improved player after the first half of the season. The Belgian will be looking to continue his good form right from the beginning of the season for his club.

Like a hand fits into a glove, it seems that both Liverpool full-backs have played for the club since the dawn of time. Clyne looks like a great replacement for Glen Johnson and he should start the game.
Dejan Lovren
The Croatian showed Liverpool fans he can play decent football at the end of last season and will be looking forward to this season after a tough first season has finished.

The leader in defence, no Liverpool team can come out without the Slovakian who signed a new contract to stay at the club.

Milner has looked a class-apart for Liverpool in the centre of midfield. The former Manchester City player joined the club to play in midfield and he is showing his ability in that role.

The captain after Steven Gerrard, pressure is high on Henderson and he needs to deliver after a rather average season last time around. He needs to show what he is capable of doing, there are many players fighting it out for his place in the team.
Emre Can
There would be a fight between Can and Lucas to play in the defensive role for Liverpool this season and we expect Can to come out on top, hopefully he should start the game and show his real talent.

This could be Lallana’s time to shine, with Sterling leaving the club; it is up to the English attacker to show Liverpool fans what he is capable off and what better way than by proving it right at the beginning of the season.

The Belgian is still young and needs time to adapt to the league, he is a buy for the future and any game time will be a great experience for him.
Danny Ings
Ings scored and broke his Liverpool duck in pre-season and with Daniel Sturridge missing and Christian Benteke all set to join, he would be looking to do more and ensure he has a starting place next season.
