Strongest Liverpool Line Up To Face Bournemouth – No Rest For SAS

Probable Liverpool line up against Bournemouth

Liverpool travel to Dean Court to take on Championship side Bournemouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ side have a plethora of injury concerns currently and will be hoping to avoid a shock when the two sides meet in England’s oldest Competition. The Reds, seven time winners of the FA Cup, needed replays against the Cherries in 1927 and 1968 at Anfield to progress in the competition. Last season, Liverpool were dumped out of the FA Cup in the fourth round and will be looking to avoid the same on Saturday. Anything less than a convincing win against the Championship side will be of great concern for Rodgers as he looks to scratch his head with his best possible options.  Here is Liverpool’s most probable line up against Bournemouth.

Goalkeeping and Defense

Liverpool Kolo Toure Mignolet

As per reports, Simon Mignolet will be rested, and Brad Jones who featured in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic in 3rd round will replace the Belgian goal keeper. Young goalkeeper will have to deal with a side who play very attractive football in the Championship but if sanity prevails he will have to do very little if Liverpool get their perfect game in place.

Glen Johnson’s injury means he joins the likes Daniel Agger, Sakho and Jose Enrique on the sidelines with a groin problem which is set to rule him out for a number of weeks. John Flanagan is back in training but it’s too early for a comeback. Rodgers is expected to start with Cissokho on the left with Martin Kelly on the right. Martin Skrtel will obviously start with Kolo Toure in the heart of the defence as the Merseysiders will look to keep a clean sheet against their less fancied opponents.
