Predicted Everton Line-up To Face Atalanta In The Europa League
After an eventful summer transfer window, Ronald Koeman’s Everton have not been able to stitch victories together in the league but have had a decent start to their European campaign. They won their qualifiers comfortably to step into the group stage of the Europa League competition this season and they start their journey this Thursday.
The 3-0 defeat to Spurs would have been frustrating and Koeman will hope that his side can set things right when they travel to Italy to face Atalanta, who are fresh from a victory over Sassuolo in the Serie A. the Toffees are expected to go all out for a win.

In early team news Seamus Coleman, Ross Barkley, Yannick Bolasie, James McCarthy and Roberto Funes-Mori are all still nursing injuries and will not be a part of this game.

GK – Maarten Stekelenburg
With Pickford acting as the league keeper, Koeman should use Stekelenburg for these Europa League games to keep the squad running.
RB – Cuco Martina
Though Mason Holgate has been decent in this position, Martina is a better option and should start this European fixture at right-back.
CB – Ashley Williams
The experienced defender will have his work cut out against an in-form Atalanta attack at the Stadio Atleti Azzuri d’Italia.
CB – Michael Keane
The former Burnley man has settled in well at Everton and is expected to put in another strong performance, in what will be his first European fixture.
LB – Leighton Baines
The veteran full-back for Everton, Baines should not be rested yet and should start at left-back for this crunch tie.
CM – Morgan Schneiderlin
The former Manchester United man is slowly finding some form and needs to be at the top of his game for Everton to get a positive result from this trip to Italy.
CM – Idrissa Gueye
The energetic midfielder also needs to have a solid game for Everton who will be in an unfamiliar territory in Bergamo.
RW – Davy Klaassen
The Dutch star is probably one of the most important players for the side, thanks to his previous experience in this competition. He should start on the right-hand side of the attack.
CAM – Wayne Rooney
Though not in a great form in the last few games, Rooney will yet again be the creator in chief, playing just behind the striker in this tie.
LW – Gylfi Sigurdsson
After a decent start to his time at the Goodison Park, Sigurdsson will have his toughest test yet, playing away from home in the Europa League.
ST – Sandro Ramirez
The Spaniard has not taken the league by storm but has a great chance to show his potential in what is an important game for the Toffees.
