Swansea City is looking out to bring Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen back to the club this summer.
According to the reports Swansea are interested in signing the player who left the club in a £15m transfer back in 2012 and the same has been confirmed by Swansea City chairman How Jenkins.
Allen will be stepping into the last year of his contract with the Reds next season and as of now there has been no talks of a new contract at the Anfield and whatever may be the case, as of now, the player’s transfer or a new contract offer from the Reds, both need to wait until after Euro 2016.
Reports suggest that Swansea made a move for the midfielder in January, however Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp did not let the midfielder go.
Now, Swans chief Jenkins has confirmed his club are contemplating a move for the Reds star.
“I think it has been well-documented that Joe is going to look at his future when he is finished out at Euro 2016,” he said.
“Naturally, we are interested in good players like Joe who may be available this summer given that he has a year left on his contract.”
The player’s future will surely be in the spotlight once the Euros is over and it must be watched out if the Reds offer the player a new deal or if Allen moves to the Welsh club.
