SHOCK! Liverpool Star Set For Immediate Exit After Agreeing A New Contract

Liverpool, with the appointment of Jurgen Klopp, now seems to focus not only on the present but also the future. The extension of contract for Danny Ward shows just that.

The Welshman was expected to leave Liverpool on a loan and he has done just that. However just before his departure, the Reds have managed to extend his contract. Jurgen Klopp obviously thinks highly of the 23 year old who made his debut against Bournemouth last season. The German manager wants Ward to play first team football and has loaned him out to Huddersfield. The manager of Huddersfield, David Wagner, is a friend of Klopp and will be able to develop Ward into a fine goalkeeper.

While Ward is almost guaranteed to get a first team spot at Huddersfield, it will be more closely watched by Klopp and his team to see how the Wales international, who made his debut against Slovakia, develops.
