Arsenal’s first choice keeper towards the second half of last season, David Ospina, is now being targeted by former European champions Real Madrid, according to the latest reports. Since the departure of their veteran keeper Iker Casillas from the Bernabeu, the club have been looking for potential replacements and are now keen to sign the Gunners’ star in this summer’s transfer window.
According to Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, the club is in need of a quick replacement for Iker Casillas, who has joined Portuguese outfit Porto recently. David De Gea still remains the Spanish giants’ number one target though they have not been able to agree a deal till now.
However, the Colombian international, who impressed at the Copa America tournament with his performances will be much easier to sign for Real, as he looks to move away from the Emirates, since the arrival of Petr Cech at north London from Premier League champions Chelsea.
