Pre-season friendly: Predicted Fulham XI to face Fenerbahce

Fulham will continue their preparations for the season ahead with a friendly fixture against Turkish giants Fenerbahce, as they kick off their pre-season tour of France.

The Cottagers, who are back in the Premier League, after earning promotion via playoffs, beat Crawley Town in their first friendly, before being held to a goalless draw by Reading this past weekend. Manager Slavisa Jokanovic will be hoping that his side gets into good shape and rhythm heading into the 2018/19 campaign and a win against the Turkish bigwigs would be a nice way to kickstart things.

Here’s how Fulham could line up at the Stade Joseph-Moynat on Wednesday.

Probable Fulham XI

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Marek Rodak (GK)

The 21-year-old has impressed in the two pre-season games so far and with Marcus Bettinelli still sidelined, he should start between the sticks on Wednesday.

Cyrus Christie (RB)

The right-back has done a great job filling in for the departed Ryan Fredericks so far. Will be looking to continue in the same fashion against Fener.

Cyrus Christie

Denis Odoi (CB)

With Tim Ream unlikely to be involved after going off injured in the previous game, Denis Odoi should once again feature from the get-go.

Maxime Le Marchand (CB)

The new signing made a solid impression in his first appearance for the club, against Reading this past weekend. Should start alongside Odoi.

Steven Sessegnon (LB)

The 18-year-old has been involved in both the friendlies this month and has managed to strike up an exciting partnership with his brother down the left-hand side. Should complete the back-four.

Jean Michael Seri

Tom Cairney (CM)

The club captain is the most influential player on the field for the Cottagers. And he will look to get into a good rhythm before the actual season kicks off.

Jean Michael Seri (CM)

One of the biggest transfer coups of the summer so far, the summer arrival from OGC Nice should make his debut for his new side on Wednesday.

Stefan Johansen (CM)

The 27-year-old Norwegian midfielder should complete the midfield trident for the London outfit against the Turkish opponents on Wednesday.

Floyd Ayite (RW)

Having scored in the first pre-season game against Crawley, the 29-year-old did not feature against Reading. The 29-year-old will be keen on impressing against Fenerbahce.

Ryan Sessegnon

Neeskens Kebano (ST)

The 26-year-old was on the scoresheet against Crawley Town and was a lively presence against Reading this past weekend. Will be hoping to build on that with another strong display.

Ryan Sessegnon (LW)

One of the brightest young stars in England currently, the teenage sensation is expected to retain his spot on the left-hand side of the attacking trident for the Londoners in France.
